Election Commissioner: BJP lodges complaint against Sujata for violating poll code in Odisha | Bhubaneswar News

Bhubaneswar: BJP on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the chief election commissioner against IAS officer Sujata Rout Karthikeyan and two IPS officers — DS Kutey and Ashish Kumar Singh — for allegedly violating poll code and obstructing free and fair elections in Odisha.
BJP urged the Election Commission to shift Karthikeyan out of the state. “The ECI may order suspension of Karthikeyan under relevant service rules for unduly interfering in conduct of election and inciting widespread violence in the state of Odisha,” read the BJP letter.It stated the EC had recently found her to be meddling and proactively trying to influence elections. It had ordered her to be shifted to a job not related to public dealing or polls.TNN
