Keonjhar: A 65-year-old man was killed by an elephant at Kendeipasi in Keonjhar district on Friday morning. The incident occurred when the victim, identified as Ganeswar Mahanta of Bhalupahadi village, was observing the elephant in a cashew orchardnear a temple. Sources said Mahanta, who had gathered with other villagers to watch the tusker, was struck by the trunk, sustaining severe abdominal injuries.
