DRM inspects monsoon preparations on Patna-Jhajha route | Patna News – Times of India


Patna: With a view to maintaining foolproof safety on railway tracks and rail bridges during monsoon, divisional railway manager (DRM) of Danapur, Jayant Kumar Choudhary, carried out inspection on Patna-Jhajha route of the division along with Danapur ADRM Aadhar Raj and other officials on Wednesday.
ECR’s chief public relations officer (CPRO) Saraswati Chandra said Choudhary visited Karauta station first and inspected small rail bridges, cross over points, station circulating area, foot over bridges (FOBs), signal panel room and cleanliness on platforms.He expressed satisfaction over fitness of the tracks and over all condition. He also directed the officials concerned to maintain cleanliness within railway station premises, he said.
In Barh, the DRM took stock of the ongoing construction work of the new station building under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) and asked the officials to expedite completion of the project in time. “The railways is strictly monitoring new station building construction work under the ABSS at different places in the Danapur division,” the DRM said.
The CPRO said the DRM later visited Rajendra Pul near Mokama, where he inspected construction of the new platforms and FOBs.
