Resident doctors’ association (RDA) president at IGIMS, Dr Rajat Kumar, said that routine services, barring emergency, ICU and trauma, were boycotted. The doctors took out a peaceful march in the morning on their campus, while an exclusive night march was led by women doctors, nurses and staff of IGIMS.
At AIIMS-Patna, RDA member Dr Aman said they have stopped taking admissions through OPD in the hospital, but were providing emergency services. “The call to call off the strike will be taken after discussion with other AIIMS branches in the country,” he said.
