Vasai: Dr Anjum Abdul Salman Shaikh, 54, working in a Vasai hospital, was arrested by the Vasai gaon police on the night of March 17 for making sexuallly coloured remarks against a fellow lady doctor. The lady doctor in her complainant said that Shaikh passed such comments on occasions between Feb 2023 and Jan 2025. The spokesperson of the hospital has stated that the complainant doctor had formally given them a written complaint on Feb 1. The hospital authorities called her for discussion on Feb 5 and the complaint was forwarded to the internal complaints committee (Vishakha cell). —Vishal Rajemahadik
