Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis

MUMBAI: Maharailhas taken over the work of railway bridges on a large scale throughout Maharashtra. So far, 32 bridges have been completed by Maharail. This year 25 bridges will be completed through Maharail.Maharashtra wants to make railway crossings free , in that regard, the responsibility has been given to Maharail , asserted Chief MinisterDevendra Fadnavis.Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Ray Road Cable Stayed Road Over Bridge and Titwala Road Over Bridge, a joint venture of Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation , Government of Maharashtra and Ministry of Railways. On this occasion, Skill , Employment , Entrepreneurship and Innovation Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha , MLA Manisha Kayande , Maharashtra State Child Protection Commission Chairperson Sushiben Shah , MLA Manoj Jamsutkar , MLA Praveen Darekar , Maharail General Manager Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal and other dignitaries were present. While in Titwala, MLA Vishwanath Bhoir , former Union Minister Kapil Patil and other dignitaries participated through video conferencing.Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said , Maharail has completed the work of Ray Road Cable Stayed Bridge in a very difficult situation , causing minimal disruption to traffic , and keeping traffic fully operational. While doing this work, using the best technology, the work has been completed with high quality and dynamism.A bridge is also a center of attraction, it is a kind of structure that increases the value of our city in a way, keeping this in mind, it has been created by doing various works including electric lighting in it and creating an excellent structure. In Nagpur too, 10 such bridges have been built through Maharail , which will also be inaugurated soon, said Chief Minister Mr. Fadnavis.

Ray Road Cable Stead Bridge

There is a 6-lane cable-stayed road over bridge near Ray Road station on the Central Railway route on the Harbour Line between Ray Road and Dockyard Road railway stations on the Sant Savata Mali line. This is the first cable-stayed road over bridge in Mumbai by Maharail.

Titwala Road Over Bridge

There is a 4-lane road over bridge near Titwala railway station on the Kalyan Ring Road between Titwala and Khadawli railway stations in the Kalyan-Igatpuri division.
