Developing Good Managers: CIMP Orientation Programme Highlights | Patna News – Times of India


Patna: The Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) on Wednesday organised an orientation programme for the newly admitted students of 2024-26 session. As many as 120 students of PG diploma (management) course attended the programme.
Addressing the newcomers, CIMP’s director Rana Singh elaborated the evolution and inspiring journey of the institution, a dream child of chief minister Nitish Kumar.He exhorted the students to work hard to develop themselves as good managers and serve the county in the best possible manner. Ravi Shanker, founder and CEO of 3S Global Advisors LLC, USA, addressed the students online and advised them to develop a thorough understanding of their strengths and shortcomings for achieving their goal in life.
Anand Kumar of Super 30 fame advised the students to have a larger purpose in life beyond their professional careers. He urged them to develop social consciousness, go beyond the classroom, and use their managerial skills to find solutions to the problems faced by the society. Apurva Chamaria of Startups and Venture Capital, Google India, urged the students to make the best use of latest technology to excel. Sunil Kumar of NABARD stressed the importance of soft skills in professional excellence.
CIMP’s chief administrative officer, Kumod Kumar, placement head Vibhash Kumar, and all faculty members were present on the occasion. Head of management course, G K Murthy, proposed a vote of thanks.
