Bhubaneswar: Deputy chief minister KV Singh Deo reviewed the irrigation projects including Upper Lanth irrigation project of Balangir district on Thursday.
“The foundation stone of this project was laid during the Balangir visit of chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi. With the completion of this project, there will be no issue of water for irrigation in Khaprakhol and Belpada area. The farmers of that area will be the ultimate beneficiary,” said Singh Deo.
He reviewed the works related to land acquisition, construction of dams and construction of office buildings. The project will be completed by Nov 2027. tnn
