Delhi metro to manage Chennai metro phase 2 | Chennai News – The Times of India

CMRL awarded Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) the contract for operating and maintaining its phase 2 network, covering 118.9 route km across the city, for 5,870 crore.
Corridor 3 stretches from Madhavaram Milk Colony in the north to Siruseri Sipcot II in the south, cutting across key city zones including Perambur, Nungambakkam, Teynampet, Adyar, and Sholinganallur. Corridor 4 runs from Lighthouse on the Marina beach front to Poonamallee Bypass, connecting central and western parts of the city such as Mylapore, Kodambakkam, Vadapalani, Porur, and Kumananchavadi. Corridor 5 links Madhavaram Milk Colony with Sholinganallur via Koyambedu, Alandur, and Velachery, functioning as an inter-corridor connector improving east-west transit.
