Deforestation in K’jhar sparks resentment

Keonjhar: Widespread deforestation in Sagpada forest, within the Suakati section of Keonjhar district’s Bhuyan Juang Pirha range, has triggered strong resentment among local residents. Keonjhar DFO Dhanraj HD said that permission was granted for tree felling, but authorities will check for any illegalities during the process.
