Mumbai: After soaring to 35 degrees over the weekend, day temperatures in Mumbai have begun to dip.
On Monday, the maximum temperature recorded by the IMD Santacruz observatory was 33.8 degrees which was 2.2 degrees above normal.
The IMD Colaba observatory recorded a high of 30 degrees, which was near-normal. On Sunday, the maximum temperature recorded by the IMD Colaba and Santacruz observatories was 32.2 degrees and 35 degrees, which were two degrees and 3.4 degrees above normal.
In its forecast for Jan 28, the IMD has said that mainly clear skies are expected in city and suburbs with maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be around 33 degrees and 20 degrees. tnn
