Mumbai: The president and office-bearers of Mumbai Dabbawallahs Association, one of several tiffin carriers’ unions, will join the Ajit Pawar-led NCP shortly. They were earlier affiliated with Shiv Sena (UBT). Association president Subhash Talekar said, “Various promises made to dabbawallahs under the Shiv Sena’s 2017 BMC vision document remain incomplete.”
