Criminal Shot Dead: Criminal shot dead in Ganjam | Bhubaneswar News


Berhampur: A 40-year-old history-sheeter was allegedly shot dead by miscreants in Kabisurya Nagar in Ganjam district on Wednesday. The deceased, Trinath Mallick, had at least 10 cases pending against him, police said.
He was playing cards near Jateswar pond when miscreants opened fire on him, killing him on the spot, the police said. The assailants fled from the spot.“We are investigating from different angles to ascertain what led to the firing,” said SP (Ganjam) Jagmohan Meena.He said patrolling has been intensified to apprehend the culprits.
