Koraput: A notorious criminal, Kartik Bagh alias Phampudu, was arrested from Visakhapatnam by Jeypore Sadar police on Friday. Bagh of Umuri village was wanted in connection with 18 cases, including kidnapping and extortion. Police acted after receiving a tip-off, leading to Bagh’s capture. Police seized a car, five live rounds of ammunition, an empty cartridge case, and a magazine from Bagh’s possession.Police said Bagh was evading arrest for some time. An NBW had been issued against him for his involvement in a 2017 kidnapping case.TNN
