Hyderabad: Allegedly upset over losing huge amounts in online cricket betting, a 29-year-old ended his life on tracks near Mechal railway station on Tuesday.
Cops said the deceased K Someshwar Rao had lost 4 lakh in betting. A case has been filed, a cop said.
According to police, they received information from railway authorities on Tuesday morning about a body lying on the tracks between Gundlapochampally and Medchal railway stations.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s family was searching for him. tnn
