Patna: A 45-year-old man was beaten to death allegedly by his cousin over a land dispute in Bihariganj police station area of Madhepura district on Monday.
Udakishunganj subdivisional police officer (SDPO) Avinash Kumar said Anil Yadav had a dispute with his cousin Mahendra. “On Monday, Anil was filling soil at the disputed land when an argument broke out with his cousin. The argument escalated into a fight. Mahendra allegedly attacked Anil on head with a bamboo stick, causing a severe injury. Villagers took Anil to Bihariganj Primary Health Centre, where doctors declared him dead. The deceased is survived by two daughters and a son,” said the SDPO.
