Cops register FIR in TV actress molestation case | Mumbai News – The Times of India

Mumbai: Amboli Police registered an FIR against an actor after a TV actress complained of being molested during a Holi party in her office building. Police are investigating further. The incident occurred between 3.30pm and 4pm on March 14. The complainant has said that she and her friends were present at the party. She added that the accused was sloshed and was behaving recklessly.
The FIR says that the accused was applying Holi colours to the women present at the party. The complainant was not keen on playing Holi with him so she resisted when he tried to apply colours on her and moved away. She tried to hide behind a snacks stall but the accused pursued her.
The FIR says she covered her face but he forcibly caught hold of her face and smeared colour on her cheeks. He professed his love for her and claimed that “nobody would be able to save her.” He then groped her as he applied colours. The complainant pushed him away and ran to the washroom. She was in shock.
Later when she confided in a male friend, he confronted the accused and the duo had a scuffle. Later, the complainant approached Amboli police station and an FIR was registered. Police has served a notice to the accused.
