Cong asks CM to reveal names of ‘fixer’ officials | Mumbai News – The Times of India

Mumbai: MPCC president Harshawardhan Sapkal on Tuesday asked CM Devendra Fadnavis to declare names of 16 “fixers,” along with names of cabinet members with whom they were working. Fadnavis had on Monday declared he had received a list of 125 senior officers from cabinet members for appointment as private secretary or officer on special duty, of which he approved 109 names while the rest have been withheld on the ground that they were facing a probe or were known “fixers.” A fortnight ago, Fadnavis had told the cabinet meeting he was keen on a “dalal-free” Mantralaya as several agents were moving around in the corridors of power in the name of cabinet members. “Fadnavis must declare the names of 16 controversial officials and come out with the names of cabinet members with whom they were working. He cannot make the officials scapegoats and give a clean chit to ministers,” Sapkal said. —Prafulla Marpakwar
