Jharsuguda: CM Mohan Majhi announced plans to make Jharsuguda one of India’s major industrial and business hubs. Addressing a gathering at the inauguration of the annual Jharsuguda lok mahotsav ‘Dulduli’ on Thursday, CM Majhi said a new hospital will come up at old Mangal Bazaar, and stated that operational guidelines have been finalized. Earlier in the day, the CM visited Jhadeswar Temple where he laid the foundation stone for a Rs 2 crore eco park project. The four-day cultural festival, traditionally held on Jan 1 to mark Jharsuguda district’s formation day, was postponed to Jan 2 following the demise of former PM Manmohan Singh.
