CM visits Delhi for industrial partnerships | Bhubaneswar News

Bhubaneswar: With an aim to attract major investments to the state, chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi left for New Delhi on Sunday.
The CM’s visit will lead to the signing of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with companies like Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Petronet LNG and Indian Strategic Petrochemical Reserves Ltd, which are aimed to establish Odisha as a prominent hub for the petrochemicals and chemicals sector.
“These collaborations will strengthen the state’s industrial ecosystem and generate substantial employment opportunities,” read a govt statement.
The CM will address key stakeholders and industry leaders, highlighting the state’s business-friendly reforms and investment potential. His itinerary includes a visit to the HCL Tech campus in Noida.
He is also scheduled to hold one-on-one meetings with industry leaders across sectors to explore potential partnerships. The discussions align with the ‘Purvodaya’ vision, aimed at spearheading eastern India’s economic resurgence.
“This visit represents a strategic move towards transforming Odisha into a preferred investment destination,” read the statement. The govt expects these initiatives to catalyse job creation and economic growth.
Majhi is scheduled to return to Bhubaneswar on April 9.
