Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday appealed to the educated voters of the Medak-Nizamabad-Karimnagar-Adilabad MLC constituency to ensure the victory of the Congress, which fulfilled a 100-year-long dream of conducting a BC caste survey and a 30-year pending demand of categorising the Scheduled Castes. In addition, the Congress provided over 55,000 jobs, waived 21,000 crore in crop loans, and implemented various welfare schemes.
Stating that the voters of the graduate MLC constituency are all educated, Revanth said they should think and vote wisely. “Give your vote to Congress only if you believe that we gave 55,000 jobs, waived 21,000 crore in crop loans of farmers, allowed transfers of teachers pending for the last 10 years, provided gas cylinders at 500 each, and 200 units of free electricity, along with numerous other welfare schemes despite the previous BRS govt leaving behind a 7 lakh crore debt. The Congress govt was compelled to borrow 65,000 crore for debt servicing in the last 12 months. The BCs and SCs should stand by the Congress. If you believe that the Congress did all these things, then give your vote to Congress candidate V Narender Reddy; if not, cast your vote for any other candidate of your choice,” Revanth said.
Do not take this election lightly, thinking it is only one MLC seat. If the Congress loses it, there will be no threat to the govt because the ruling party has enough MLAs on its side. If BJP wins, Narendra Modi will not become the President of America. But a Congress defeat will give an opportunity to the secret partners BRS-BJP to tell people that Revanth Reddy lost because he conducted the BC caste survey and SC categorisation,” Revanth said, addressing public meetings in Nizamabad, Mancherial, and Karimnagar districts. But if the graduates defeat the BJP, then they will be helping Telangana state get approvals and funds for metro rail, irrigation projects, RRR, Musi rejuvenation, and other projects, which are being blocked by Union minister G Kishan Reddy so that Congress does not get the credit for it.

Don’t fall prey to the religious emotional issues being raised by the BJP. On the other hand, BRS, as part of a secret deal with the BJP to escape cases and jail (in an indirect reference to K Kavitha and KTR), is working to defeat the Congress and ensure BJP’s victory. The BRS leaders have placed the self-respect of Telangana people at Modi’s feet, he alleged.
