CM, ministers take part in bike rally to celebrate Operation Sindoor’s success | Bhubaneswar News

Bhubaneswar: A state-level tricolour bike rally, Parakram Shobhayatra, commemorating the success of Operation Sindoor was flagged off by chief minister Mohan Charan Majhiat Kalinga Stadium here on Wednesday.The rally, which began at 8 am and concluded at the Raj Bhavan, saw enthusiastic participation from police forces, security personnel, public representatives and citizens.Participants rode through the city streets with tricolour flags, chanting “Vande Mataram”.Addressing the gathering, Majhi said, “The success of Operation Sindoor demonstrates the unwavering determination of our mothers and sisters. Our armed forces upheld the dignity of sindoor, and I extend my heartfelt respect to ourbrave soldiers.”The CM emphasised that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, all Indians are secure. “PM Modi made it clear that India will not bow to nuclear blackmail. Our armed forces stand ready to respond appropriately to any challenge,” he added.Highlighting the significance of the tricolour, Majhi said, “When Indians unite under the national flag, no force can defeat us. The three colours inspire respect and harmony, bearing witness to our resolve, struggle, sacrifice and dedication.“The CM rode pillion on a bike with higher education minister Suryabanshi Suraj. “To honour the success of Operation Sindoor, I participated in the Parakram Shobhayatra, organised to pay tribute to our brave soldiers, expressing respect for the valour and heroism of the army,” he said. Deputy CMs Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, besides revenue minister Suresh Pujari, panchayati raj minister Rabi Narayan Naik and health minister Mukesh Mahaling, were among those present. “The unparalleled valour and indomitable spirit of theIndian armed forces during Operation Sindoor have filled the nation with immense pride. This procession stands as a tribute to their courage, sacrifice and unwavering dedication to safeguarding our motherland,” Singh Deo said.
