CM-led team meets investors at WAVES | Bhubaneswar News



Bhubaneswar: CM Mohan Charan Majhi led a high-powered delegation for the inaugural WAVES (World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit)-2025 in Mumbai on Sunday.
The delegation took part in extensive business-to-govt (B2G) meetings with industry leaders, highlighting Odisha’s commitment to accelerated industrial development. Majhi met top executives from major corporations, including Tata Steel, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, Waaree Energies and Indian Rare Earths Ltd., discussing ongoing projects and future expansion plans.
Discussions were held with Jain Irrigation Ltd and JSK Aluminium Industries Ltd, focusing on potential investments in agro-processing and aluminium downstream sectors. The delegation also explored technological partnerships with Google Inc and Canary’s Automation Private Ltd for advancing digital governance initiatives, particularly in disaster monitoring and AI-based administration.
The delegation met officials from the Chamber for Advancement of Small & Medium Enterprises (CASME), Maharashtra, exploring collaborations in the food processing and packaging industries.
“The summit serves as a strategic platform for Odisha to showcase its potential across various sectors. We invite global investors to participate in Odisha’s growth journey, emphasising our new motto, ‘Yahi Samay Hai, Sahi Samay Hai’ (This is the time, the right time),” the CM said.
