CM inaugurates four newly constructed buildings

Patna: CM Nitish Kumar on Wednesday inaugurated four newly built buildings, including a sub-divisional hospital, a polytechnic, a block-cum-circle office and a residential school, in Barh sub-division of Patna district.He first inaugurated the block-cum-circle office and residential complex at Athmalgola, costing Rs 20.13 crore, by unveiling the plaque. After this, he inspected various sections of the office building to review the arrangements and facilities. He handed over the keys of the newly built Jeevika building to the Jeevika didis, encouraging them to continue their good work.“The office building is three-storeyed and it includes residential facilities for officials and staff. A 50-KW solar panel has also been installed on the roof to save electricity,” a communique issued from the chief minister’s office said.After this, the CM inaugurated govt girls’ residential +2 high school, built at a cost of Rs 45.90 crore, for other backward classes at Athmalgola. Next, the CM opened govt polytechnic, built at a cost of Rs 72.79 crore, at Barh. He inspected the educational and administrative buildings and interacted with students, urging them to study diligently. He also planted saplings on the campus. The building includes a four-storey administrative and educational block, with separate hostels for male and female students. A 150-kilowatt solar panel is installed on the roof for energy savings.The CM then inaugurated a new 100-bed hospital building, constructed at a cost of Rs 24.70 crore, at Barh. He inspected the hospital’s various parts like the nurses’ room, OPD, and wards. Lastly, Nitish inspected the Bakhtiyarpur-Tajpur bridge under construction near Bahadurpur. He asked the official to complete the work at the earliest.
