CM Grievance Cell gets 2403 complaints today | Bhubaneswar News
BHUBANESWAR: On the third day of his hearing of public grievances at the CM Grievance Cell, chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday received 2,403 complaints. More than 5,000 people gathered at the grievance cell to meet him.
While hearing the public grievances, Majhi advised the people not to be impatient as their problems would be solved. People were happy after meeting the CM.After getting direction from Majhi, officials were forwarding the complaints of the people to the concerned departments for prompt action.
Deputy chief minister Pravati Parida, ministers Nityananda Gond, Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, Ganesh Ram Singhkhuntia, Mukesh Mahaling, and Krushna Chandra Patra, along with department secretaries, were present during the public hearing.
Majhi started the hearing at 10 am and continued it till around 5 pm. Santosh Sahu, a physically challenged person from Tangi in Khurda district, alleged that his employment was terminated despite having been appointed through due process of law. He has been suffering a lot to support his family of five members. The CM assured him of help.
Similarly, another physically challenged youth, Bulu Biswal from Ganjam district, requested Majhi to provide him with a scooter. Subhasini Dei, 82, from Siripur locality of Bhubaneswar, said she gets her old age pension from Begunia block. She appealed to the CM to pay this allowance in Bhubaneswar. Immediate direction was given to Khurda Collector to solve the issue.
