Climate Action: Youths must take charge of climate action | Bhubaneswar News


Bhubaneswar: Experts at Odisha Conference of Youth on climate change, organised by Youth4Water Plus campaign with support from UNICEF Odisha. The three-day event, that kicked off in the city on Friday, aimed to equip young leaders with the knowledge, tools and networks to drive impactful climate action. The conference is dedicated to amplify the voices of Odisha’s most vulnerable youth.
Addressing participants, Karina Malczewska, WASH specialist at UNICEF India, said it is trying to facilitate dialogues on climate change and sustainability by amplifying youth voices and fostering collaboration with various stakeholders. Sourav Bhattacharjee, nutrition specialist at UNICEF said the passion of Odisha’s youth are the greatest assets in this fight. TNN
