City electrician gunned down in Patna | Patna News – Times of India


Patna: Unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants gunned down Rakesh Kumar (38), an electrician, near Jagdeopath in Patna late Wednesday night.
Kumar, a resident of Chaudhari Tola in the Shastri Nagar police station area, was killed around 10.45pm while walking from Jagdeopath roundabout towards Khajpura. DSP (secretariat) Sushil Kumar, said the attackers fired two bullets into Kumar’s chest and fled.
“Upon receiving information, police took him to a private hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries,” the DSP said, adding the body was sent to Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences for postmortem, and the forensic science laboratory (FSL) team collected evidence from the spot, including CCTV footage from nearby areas.
