Patna: The two-day fourth international conference on corporate social responsibility organised by Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) concluded on Saturday with a call for effective collaborations among corporate houses, academia, local govts and NGOs to foster sustainable rural transformation.
The conference attempted to bridge the gap between global aspirations and local realities, providing actionable insights to widen Bihar’s socio-economic landscape through sustainable development. With a focus on innovation, collaboration and inclusivity, the conference set a strong foundation for achieving SDGs in the state.
Prominent among those who addressed the conference at its valedictory session included CIMP’s director Rana Singh, Bihar State Disaster Management Authority’s member P N Rai and Bihar Biodiversity Board’s chairman Bharat Jyoti. Representatives of various startups also expressed their views on accelerating the economic growth of the state.
