Chief Minister: CMO: Social organisations, people lauded state budget | Bhubaneswar News


Bhubaneswar: Representatives of various social organisations and the public met chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday and expressed satisfaction and supported the budget presented in the assembly on Thursday.
“Everyone is happy with the provisions in the budget, feeling satisfied. People from all over the state came to Bhubaneswar to thank the chief minister.Representatives from various districts, including Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj and Bargarh came to thank the CM,” a statement from the chief minister’s office (CMO) read. It said the budget is seen as people-oriented and beneficial to all sections. “Particularly, it is expected to aid in the economic improvement and welfare of farmers and women. The chief minister personally interacted with everyone,” it added. A large number of farmers from Bargarh district said the Rs 800 increase in MSP for paddy was beneficial. They thanked the CM, stating he had fulfilled his promises. They said no previous govt had thought of farmers in this way. tnn
