Senior RSS functionary Suresh Joshi stated that the issue of Aurangzeb’s tomb is being unnecessarily raised. Despite opposition from CM Devendra Fadnavis against glorification, Joshi emphasized that the tomb’s presence symbolizes India’s generosity and inclusivity. He pointed out that Shivaji Maharaj also built a tomb for his rival, showing historical respect.
