Central Railway operates megablock on Mumbai suburban sections for maintenance work | – The Times of India

MUMBAI: Central Railway, Mumbai Division, is operating a megablock on its suburban sections today to carry out various engineering and maintenance works. On the Main Line, the block is on the 5th and 6th lines between Vidyavihar and Thane from 8.00 am to 12.30 pm.
The down Mail/Express trains, viz. train numbers 11055, 11061, and 16345, will be diverted onto the down fast line at Vidyavihar station and will be re-diverted onto the 5th line at Thane station. These trains will run 10 to 15 minutes behind schedule during the block period.
The up Mail/Express trains, viz. train numbers 11010, 12124, 13201, 17221, 12126, 12140, and 22226, will be diverted onto the up fast line at Thane station and will be re-diverted onto the 6th line at Vidyavihar station. These trains will also run 10 to 15 minutes behind schedule during the block period.
Another block is being carried out on the up Harbour Line from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm and on the down Harbour Line from 11.40 am to 4.40 pm between CSMT Mumbai and Chunabhatti/Bandra stations.
Special services will operate between Kurla and Panvel at a 20-minute frequency during the block period. Harbour Line passengers are permitted to travel via the Main Line and Western Railway until 6.00 pm during the block period.
