Ceiling collapse injures four students at government high school in Patna | Patna News – Times of India


Patna: Four students were injured when a portion of ceiling of government high school at Fatuha in Patna district collapsed on Monday.
The injured students were rushed to a nearby private nursing home for primary treatment and are out of danger. Fatuha block education officer (BEO), Vinod Kumar Yadav, said that a junior engineer has been sent to investigate the matter and conduct a thorough inspection of the building.The school, which has enrolment of around 400 students, operates in two shifts. Two rooms of the school’s corridor had already been declared unsafe.
“A report will be submitted to the education department after the inspection and necessary action will be taken,” said the BEO.
