Camaraderie: Naveen Patnaik attends swearing-in ceremony of new CM Mohan Charan Majhi | Bhubaneswar News

Bhubaneswar: In a rare gesture of political camaraderie, former chief minister Naveen Patnaik took a seat on the podium during the swearing-in ceremony of new CM Mohan Charan Majhi and his council of ministers here on Wednesday.
When Prime Minister Narendra Modi was returning after Majhi was sworn-in, he stopped near Naveen’s chair to exchange pleasantries.The duo shook hands and smiled for a minute catching the attention of those on the dais and the gathering. Naveen was escorted to his seat by Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Pradhan and Union health minister J P Nadda sat on either side of Naveen. Nadda was seen talking with Naveen. In the row where Naveen sat, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Union tribal affairs minister Jual Oram and railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw were also seated.
Majhi said he sought Naveen’s blessings when he had gone to his residence to invite him to the oath-taking ceremony.
