Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) announced on Thursday that the cancelled 70th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination at the Bapu Exam Centre (BEC) in Patna will now be held on January 4.
“A meeting was convened on Thursday to finalise the date of the retest of the cancelled exam of BEC and it has been decided to conduct the said exam on January 4, 2025,” stated the announcement uploaded to the BPSC website late Thursday night. The notice mentioned that detailed information regarding the retest would be shared on the BPSC website soon.
The 70th CCE (preliminary) exam at the BEC, originally conducted on Dec 13, was cancelled due to widespread chaos and mismanagement. The cancellation followed allegations by candidates of a question paper leak and delays in distributing the question paper to one of the exam rooms.
