Boy Found Hanging, Kin Allege Murder | Patna News – Times of India
Ara: A 17 – year- old boy was found hanging from a tree at Bhadwar village under Chandi police station of Bhojpur district on Sunday.
Chandi SHO in charge Nasim Khan said the family members of deceased Vikash Kumar have alleged that he was murdered over a love affair with a girl from the same Bhadwar village. “According to them the boy had sneaked out of the house about 3am to allegedly meet his girlfriend. However the villagers raised an alarm about 5.30am when they found the body. ”
He added no injury mark was found on the body. “His body was found hanging from his own loin cloth. Hence it is not yet known whether it was a suicide or murder. We have sent the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The report is awaited. The exact cause of his death can only be ascertained after getting the report. Till Sunday evening, no written complaint was registered by the family members. However the police are investigating the case at their own level.”
Meanwhile talking to the media persons the elder brother of the deceased , Ritesh Kumar said ,” For the last one and a half year my brother was having a love affair with a girl of my village .Four days ago there was a quarrel between my brother and the girl ‘s family members. They had asked my brother not to meet the girl in future .”
However the police investigation is on to find out whether it was suicide or murder over love affair .
