Mumbai: The BMC has carried out large-scale transfers appointments and promotions of Assistant Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and Joint Commissioners. Order regarding transfers and posting of seven Joint and Deputy Municipal Commissioners and 12 Assistant Commissioners has been issued to Municipal Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani.
Vishwas Shankarwar, who was Joint Commissioner of Zone 4 has been appointed as Joint Commissioner (Tax Assessment and Collection), while Bhagyashree Kapse, Deputy Commissioner (Zone 7) has been transferred to Zone-4. Sanjay Kurhade, Deputy Commissioner (Public Health) has been transferred to Zone 7. Sharad Ughade, Assistant Commissioner (D ward) has been promoted and transferred as Deputy Commissioner (Public Health) besides additional charge of Information Technology department, while Ajitkumar Ambi, Assistant Commissioner G-North ward has been promoted and transferred as Deputy Commissioner (Gardens), Vinayak Vispute, Assistant Commissioner (H West ward) has been transferred to G-North ward, besides given additional charge of Assistant Commissioner, Encroachment Removal, (Eastern and Western Suburbs), Manish Valanju, Assistant Commissioner (K-East ward has been transferred to D ward, besides given additional charge of Assistant Commissioner (Markets). Alka Sasane, Assistant Commissioner (M East ward) has been transferred to S ward, Nitin Shukla, Assistant Commissioner F-North ward has been transferred to B-ward. Four Assistant Commissioners recently recruited through Maharashtra Public Service Commission, have also been appointed.
