BJP worker shot dead over land dispute | Patna News – Times of India
Patna: A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) functionary and former general secretary of Bajrangpuri Mandal, Ajay Kumar alias Ajay Sah (50), was shot dead by miscreants over a land dispute near his house under Alamganj police station area in Patna City on Tuesday night.
According to police, the incident took place around 10pm when he was sitting inside his dairy booth close to his residence.Two miscreants on a bike reached near his shop and opened fire at him multiple times before they escaped. By the time the local people reached the spot after hearing the gunshots, Sah was already dead. However, locals and his family members took him to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Patna City ASP Sharath RS, said the police have got some leads and the investigation is underway. The statement of the family members is being taken, he said.
