BENGALURU: A 35-year-old BJP worker, Praveen Gowda, was found hanging from a tree in Anekal near Bengaluru on Thursday night, in what police suspect to be a case of suicide.
Shortly before his death, Praveen uploaded a video on Facebook in which he alleged that he had been assaulted by a group of around ten men.
He claimed the attack stemmed from a financial dispute and was carried out on the instructions of another BJP member.
