Mumbai: Assembly Speaker, Rahul Narwekar, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to His Eminence Oswald Cardinal Gracias, Archbishop of Bombay, to seek his blessings. During the meeting, Narwekar and the Cardinal engaged in a productive discussion on various topics related to Mumbai as the state gears up for elections. Narwekar is a BJP MLA and the party’s candidate from Colaba. “We had a very insightful and informative meeting on various topics related to development works. We also discussed collaborating with the Christian community for good governance and nation-building. We sought His Eminence’s blessings,” said Narwekar.
Narwekar praised Cardinal Gracias for his humility and down-to-earth nature, noting that the Cardinal’s approachability was a valuable lesson in humility for everyone. “With the transformative and visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi, let’s move forward together and continue our journey of progress and prosperity for all.”
