BJP hits out at Rahul over ‘anti-Hindu’ jibe | Patna News – Times of India
Patna: State BJP on Tuesday lambasted Congress neta Rahul Gandhi for adopting policy of appeasement in his maiden speech as the Lok Sabha leader of opposition, and alleged that he reflected the “anti-Hindu mentality” of other INDIA bloc leaders who have insulted Hindus and Sanatan tradition.
Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha and health minister Mangal Pandey, in their separate press conferences, said that Rahul had clearly taken an anti-Hindu line, and he described all Hindus as being violent.
Calling Rahul as being “born with golden spoons”, Sinha said, “He first abuses Hindus, and then goes on temple hopping wearing ‘janeu’ (sacred thread).”
“He also displayed a picture associated with Islam, which points to the appeasement policy to which he resorted on the floor of Lok Sabha. His speeches were based on lies. Such practices undermine democracy and also lower the dignity of Parliament,” Sinha said.
Pandey alleged that the anti-Hindu mentality of Rahul Gandhi is inspired by Mohammad Ali Jinnah. He said several leaders of the INDIA bloc have also used foul words against Sanatan tradition and Hindu faith.
In the same vein, Pandey, while putting the RJD leaders in the same bracket, added that it along with the Congress share the same anti-Hindu mentality.
