BJP: BJP: Long-time voters, entire families missing from voter list | Bhubaneswar News

Sambalpur: Four days after elections in Sambalpur, the BJP district unit said long-time voters and entire families in the assembly segment were unable to cast their votes. In every booth in Sambalpur assembly constituency, there were supposedly more than 10 such cases, they claimed.
Among those not included in the voter list were BJP senior leader Pramod Rath and his family.“Me and my family have never missed voting during elections. It shocked me this time that names of my family members as well as my neighbours were not there on the voter list,” said Pramod.
BJP spokesperson Manas Baxy, at a press conference, said, “The old voters did not find their names on the list. Through what process were their names removed?”TNN
