Bhubaneswar: A high-level delegation from BJD, led by the party’s coordination committee chairman, Debi Prasad Mishra, convened with the chairman of the Central Water Commission (CWC) in New Delhi on Thursday to voice concerns over the Polavaram project and its potential ramifications on Odisha, particularly in Malkangiri district. The BJD delegation emphasised several crucial issues regarding the project, including inconsistencies in the submergence levels and the design flood capacity.
