Chennai: A biker died after his vehicle rammed a median on the road near Taramani on Saturday night.
The victim suffered severe head injuries as he did not wear a helmet. Devadarshan, 19 of Thiruvannamalai was staying with his relative and studying at a private college.
He was on his way to meet his friends when he met with the accident. He was heading to Taramani from Velachery when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the median.
He died on the spot. Some passersby took him to a nearby private hospital. His body was sent for a post mortem to a nearby govt hospital.
The Guindy traffic investigation police have registered a case and are investigating.
