Patna: Altogether nine candidates for the post of junior engineer in the Bihar govt were on Friday handed over to police on charges of producing fake certificates during the verification of documents by the Bihar Technical Service Commission.
“Hundreds of candidates for the post of junior engineer on Friday turned up before the commission for verification of their educational certificates. The diploma certificates of nine candidates, including two women, were found either fake or fabricated during the verification of documents. All these nine candidates were handed over to the Secretariat police station with a request to register FIR against them and take necessary action,” the commission chairperson and senior IAS officer N Saravana Kumar told TOI.
In a letter to the station house officer, Secretariat police station, the commission’s deputy chairman, Rameez Fahmi, has given details about their “fake” certificates. Saravana said the commission asked the police to register FIR against all these candidates.
