Bihar finish campaign with loss to Kerala – Times of India

Bihar ended their Vijay Hazare Trophy campaign at the bottom of Group E with a 133-run defeat to Kerala in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Electing to field first, opening bowlers Prashant Singh and captain Sakibul Gani gave Bihar a good start by removing the Kerala top-order inside first 8 overs as they were reduced to 33/3. But the Kerala middle order, led by player-of-the-match Md Azharuddeen‘s 98-ball 88, held fort before a 45-ball unbeaten 54 by No. 9 Akhil Scaria gave them a late charge to finish the innings on 266 for 8 wickets.
In reply, Bihar lost wickets at regular intervals as their innings folded for just 133. Bihar registered only one win in six games in the meet against Delhi.
