Bihar Education Minister Urges Action Against Paper Leaks on Medha Diwas | Patna News – Times of India

Patna: Exhorting the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) matriculation and Intermediate toppers to always strive for the best and be job creators, state education minister Sunil Kumar on Tuesday also called for putting an end to the menace of paper leaks.
He was speaking on the occasion of Medha Diwas, organized on the occasion of birth anniversary of country’s first president Rajendra Prasad, when the BSEB Class X and XII toppers of the year were also felicitated.
“This is just the beginning of your life, always set higher goals and endeavour to achieve the same. Also try to be job creators and attempt to be the best student as well as the finest human being,” said the minister.
He urged the students to emulate the good qualities of Rajendra Prasad.
“Our first president was not only a versatile genius, for whom his class teacher once wrote — examinee is better than the examiner — but also a very good human being. There are many qualities that we can learn from him,” said Kumar.
Further commending the efforts of the BSEB and education department officials, the minister urged them to put an end to the menace of paper leaks. “The problem of paper leaks should be dealt with strictly and the same can be ensured only by securing the integrity of the core team engaged in the work,” said Kumar, adding the state govt was ready to provide all required assistance to scale up the quality of education in Bihar.
Earlier, BSEB chairman Anand Kishor welcomed the guests. Srijan Pal Singh, who worked with former president APJ Abdul Kalam, was also present on the occasion as a motivational speaker and gave tips to the students on how to do well in their life and career, and tackle failures.
