Bihar bypolls: NDA clinches Imamganj seat, leads in remaining three constituencies | Patna News – Times of India
NEW DELHI: The ruling NDA won the Imamganj assembly seat with a narrow margin of 5,945 votes while it was leading in the remaining three seats, election commission trends showed.
Deepa Kumari of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) defeated RJD’s Raushan Kumar.
Meanwhile Election Commission data showed BJP’s Vishal Prashant was leading in Tarari while Ashok Kumar Singh was ahead in Ramgarh.
Assembly Election Results
In Belaganj, JD(U)’s Manorma Devi is maintaining her lead.
The by-elections, conducted on November 13, were held in Tarari, Belaganj, Imamganj, and Ramgarh. These seats became vacant after the sitting representatives were elected to the Lok Sabha earlier this year.
The counting of votes for all four constituencies began at 8am amid tight security.
