Bhubaneswar Development Authority: BDA eases norms for sub-division of agri land | Bhubaneswar News

Bhubaneswar: Sub-division of agricultural land for the purpose of sale will no longer require a no objection certificate (NOC) with the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) issuing an order to this effect. The BDA has written to all the five sub-registrars under its jurisdiction for registration of sale deeds of such agricultural land without waiting for the NOC from the BDA.Earlier, the seller had to obtain the NOC from BDA for sale of such land.
“It may be noted that many land owners have approached BDA seeking NOC for sub-division of land for agriculture purpose in agriculture zone where there is no scope of development,” reads the order of the BDA issued to the sub-registrars.
