Ara: The Bhojpur police on Wednesday arrested two people, including a history-sheeter, accused of murdering one Shri Ram Singh (25) on Monday. An FIR was lodged with the Sandesh police station regarding the incident on December 3. Following the instructions of the SP, Raj, a special police team was formed under the leadership of the ASP and Sadar SDPO-1, Parichay Kumar, to arrest the accused.
“Two murder accused – Amit Kumar Singh and Niranjan Kumar Yadav – were arrested within 24 hours of receiving the complaint. One of the arrested criminals, Amit, is a history-sheeter with three cases registered against him at the Sandesh police station,” a press release from the Bhojpur SP office said.
Amit is a resident of Tirthkaul village under the Sandesh police station of Bhojpur district, while the other arrested accused, Niranjan Kumar Yadav, hails from Nasratpur village, also under the same police station.
