During the ride, Khan, though injured and wearing a blood-soaked white outfit, remained conscious and repeatedly asked how long it would take to reach the hospital.
“I reassured him it would only take two minutes,” Singh said. Khan was accompanied by his domestic help, Hari, and his son, Taimur. Despite the urgency of the situation, Singh noted that the actor appeared calm.
Meanwhile, the intruder who stabbed Khan during the early hours of Thursday at his Bandra home is still on the run. Over 30 police teams are actively searching for the attacker, who managed to escape after the incident.
The 54-year-old actor suffered multiple stab wounds, including injuries to his neck and near his spine. He underwent emergency surgery at Lilavati Hospital and has since been moved out of the ICU.
Doctors have reported that Khan is recovering well, walking, and on a normal diet. They anticipate his discharge from the hospital within two to three days.
